Me di cuenta que no había ningún "Grandes Éxitos" con los mejores hits, a mi parecer, de los Pioneers. Y dado que son mi trio vocal de reggae favorito decidí hacer uno que les haga justicia.
Ellos son George Dekker (a veces Johnny Melody, paisano de Desmond Dacres), Jackie Robinson y Sidney Crooks (el productor y hit maker de la banda. También cabe recalcar que junto a su hermano compartían el grupo The Slickers, muchas veces mal confundido con los Pioneers)
Aquí podrán ver que a veces grababan con otros nombres como The Reggae Boys, The Soulmates y The Soul Directions, además de tener carreras solistas y proyectos aparte como los mencionados Slickers.
Hoy en día Jackie y George siguen cantando juntos y usando el nombre de la banda, mientras que Sidney anda por su cuenta. En fin, ¡Ojalá disfruten estos excelentes temas tanto como yo!
